First Baptist Church of Fannett Leadership

First Baptist Church of Fannett is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Robert

Pastor

Brother Scooter was appointed to serve as First Baptist Church of Fannett's Pastor in 2002.

He graduated from East Texas Baptist College (University) in 1980 with a BA degree in Religion, specializing in Church Administration.

In December of 1984 Scooter completed his MDiv degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Scooter has been happily married for 40 years to his wife, Liz. They have three children, Sarah, married to Brandon, Lindsey, married to Alex, and Bryce, married to Ericka. Scooter and Liz also celebrate 6 grandchildren.

Rebekah Taber

Worship Leader

Rebekah has been involved in church worship ministry since she was 12 years old. Her overriding goal and passion is to inspire authentic worship of God by celebrating the beauty and power of His gift of music. Rebekah is married to Will and they have two children, Lucy and Sam.
